Arlen does not know where to send his letter and has to ask around, at the Inn Nuala talked about and of the people there. Finally he has to give the letter to a strange thing that seems to understand English but won't speak it and he wasn't really ready to hand it over but it was a fast little creature and his hands are clumsy. He hopes the letter gets to her somehow.
Lady Nuala, Highness of the Deepmoor,
I have obtained a job in a household of people who frequent the Nexus, and I will be establishing a temporary glassworks in a place called the Nexus labs, therefore I will be in and around the nexus for the forseeable future. I do not know how long my current project will take, but I expect a matter of months. My new employers are providing room and board as a part of my fee. I believe Aodhan is content here, the young lady of the house has made him a bed.
As I am writing this I realize I do not know where to send it or how to reach you again except by chance encounter.Very few people are so willing to I valued your conversation and would enjoy speaking with you again. I hope that is not too forward, I mean no subtext to it. People who seem to have some understanding of my work or my thinking are very rare and I appreciate it. I also feel that I should apologize for any implications of experimental interest. I believe my impulse to learn through analysis of all I encounter may be one reason people do not react well to me and it is an instinct I must learn to curb. I was once imprisoned and my blood drawn repeatedly over months for pure material gain of others, and in that light it is unforgivable that I should be insensitive.
I hope you can forgive my poor manners, and I hope if this letter does find you, it finds you well. Should you wish to reply, I am staying with the Crumrins, and I will also be working extensively in the Nexus labs.
